Usage rules of diet pills

Almost all mixed food pill packets in Bangladesh contain 21 white contraceptive pills (mainly hormone) and 7 kheiri pills (iron pills). Some packets or leaflets contain only 21 birth control pills.

• The first day of menstruation when starting the pill for the first time. That means you have to start taking white pills from the first day of menstruation. (But menstruation can start from any day from the first day to the 5th day).

• A woman who has had an abortion or MR or a woman who has had an abortion, if she chooses oral contraceptives as a method of birth control, should start taking the pill from the day of the abortion/MR or within the 5th day thereafter.

• Always start with the first pill. 21 white pills should be taken in 21 days from the first pill following the directions (arrows or fingers) on the pill sheet.

• After the white pills are over, take 7 kheri pills in the same way in 7 days. Normal menstruation starts while taking khairi pills. Khairi pills cannot be stopped even if menstruation starts.

• From the day after the end of 7 khairi pills whether it is menstrual or not, one should start taking white pills again from a new leaf according to the above rules.

• Tablets should be swallowed with water. It is best to practice taking pills at the same time every day. The best time to take the pill is after dinner or at bedtime.

• In case of packets containing 21 pills, wait for menstruation after 21 pills are over. When menstruation starts, you have to start taking the new packet of pills from the 1st day of menstruation. If not menstruating and the recipient is sure that no pill was missed, resume taking the pill 7 days after the last pill meal.

Diet pills are the first rule to start

• From first day of menses: Diet pills should be started from first day of menses to prevent ovulation properly. If the onset of menstruation is delayed for any reason or there are other unusual symptoms, the woman should be sure that she is pregnant before starting the diet pill.

• From any day: If the woman is sure that she is not pregnant, she can start taking mixed pills from any day if necessary. But he has to use condom for the next 7 days. If you start taking pills like this, you will delay your next period
